    Wired posts an incredibly stupid article on converting your HD-DVDs to Blu ray. This comes on the heels of Toshiba’s announcement to end the format, thus ending the great high definition optical media war. Blank Blu ray media runs about the same price as a new Blu ray movie. If you absolutely must have a currently exclusive HD-DVD title on Blu ray, then I beg you to wait. Universal and Paramount have already announced they are running back to Blu ray. Don’t spend almost $500 on a Blu ray burning setup just for converting your HD-DVD collection. Keep watching your HD-DVDs! There’s isn’t a rule that you must stop using obsolete technology.
