A New Brand

If you follow me on various outlets, you probably have seen this:

I’ve decided to go with a new brand for “All Things Bwana”. A lot of you are probably familiar with my cartoonme avatar as my personal brand, but I decided to change that up. I wanted something simple and easy to recognize, so I opened Pixelmator and typed a giant “B” and worked around that. I’m no graphics expert but I think it’s a good brand to move forward with. It represents all the various things I do.

There was a lot of confusion since I had a Bwana.org brand, a Bwana.TV brand and a Bwana.org Radio brand. This new brand will be everywhere and will represent it all. If you see the giant B, know that it’s me

Personally, I don't like your new logo, it's too cold and impersonal. I think that your previous logo was more recognizable than this.

I'm already missing some of your twitter posts because I'm unconsciously looking for the other logo.

I imagine I'll get used to it eventually.

It's hard to quantify, but I guess the reason it doesn't appeal to me is that all I see is a big blue B in a box, it doesn't project the Bwana personality that I've grown to appreciate.

Of course, the only person it has to please is you. I'm no graphics or branding expert by any means, not sure why it even prompted me to comment.
