I bought a Google G1 phone, it has a slick interface. However the biggest limitation I have found is that unless you have network access so that the phone can sync with Google - the phone will not let you call out. You can call 911 only. So far, I have encountered this 4 times since I have created my gmail account.

Google expects everything in the cloud with no desktop sync yet (I'm guessing) T-Mobile imposes a 1GB/month limit. That's a broken idea already!

Google Account required to use! Just another way that Google aims to keep its nose in your business. No telling what the phone reports back to google without you knowing it! I wouldn't touch this phone with a 10 foot pole - fearing more privacy invasion, and also the fact that the entire aesthetic is completely bunk.
