Vimeo is the Web’s HD Solution?

As a high definition video enthusiast, I’m looking for an online solution for HD video. So far I haven’t found many practical solutions. I stumbled upon Vimeo a couple weeks ago after they made some improvements to their site and it impressed me. The video quality is amazing (I mean really amazing) as you can see here.

One downside is that you can’t embed HD quality videos. You must visit Vimeo’s site in order to get the full HD glory. If they allowed HD quality embeds, I think I’d be sold. Either way, it’s a step in the right direction and I’m glad to see easily accessible HD video on the web.
