So I went Pro.

I like to support things I use and not use me. I”ve gotten a lot of great information and exposure by using Pownce so I gave them $20 to continue to improve the service. The pro features? I don’t care about. I also don’t believe Pownce is a direct competitor to Twitter and Jaiku. Pownce shares notes, files, and links to your friends. Twitter and Jaiku tells your friends what you are doing. Not really the same thing to me, even though people were using Twitter and Jaiku to share links. My friends list on Pownce is tighter than my list on Twitter and Jaiku. This enhances the features of Pownce and I highly recommend you only add people you know and share similar interests with. Pownce is clean and surprisingly stable for such an early stage. All it needs now is an API. Hopefully, my $20 will help that happen.
