The iPod will die when Apple fumbles the ball. There are no products, current or upcoming that stands a chance to one-up the iPod image.The iPod is so iconic, Apple does not even need to pay for product placement.

Zune may look good on paper, but it will never be received well by the masses. It does not require a superior product to win. Archos has been selling widescreen AV players while iPods were still black and white. Do you see many people holding their widescreen archos around, anywhere?
