Gearing up for WWDC
August 7, 2006
Today’s the day. It’s amazing how one company can generate so much hype over the unknown. Rumors are flying, live chats are preparing, and credit cards are armed. What will Apple release today?
The only confirmed rumor is a Mac version of VMware. I’m happy to see this and hope it performs as well as Parallels. VMware has much pull in the enterprise workplace and I’m an avid user of their product on the Windows platform. Others have confirmed that Leopard will be showcased at WWDC and we’ll be able to see some of the new features of Mac OS X.
The keynote address by Steve Jobs kicks off at 1PM EDT today. I’ll be monitoring live feeds and will be producing a podcast on Bwana.org Radio of what I think of each announcement. Now we wait. ![]()
