Newsvine Improves Its Features

My one stop shop for all things newsworthy, Newsvine, has implemented three user requested features to their already stellar news system:

Threaded Commenting System - Newsvine has implemented Threaded comments that are 1 level deep. I am happy they made this decision so as to not create the “clutter” plagued by sites like Slashdot and Digg.
Feedback Rating System - Newsvine explains this one best: “This is a system which will probably get tweaked a few times before it’s perfect, but it’s designed to represent your positive contributions to the community versus any times your content has been reported.”
Photo Captions - Newsvine came through with my most anticipated feature. When they allowed you to upload images to your articles, I was looking for ways to add those cool captions I saw from the “Wire”. It wasn’t there! Now it is.

The Newsvine community is one of the best on the web hands down. Both the user community and the people who run it make it a pleasurable way to start your web surfing.
