Early Birthday presents

Kecia and I celebrated my birthday yesterday (my birthday is actually Mar 20th) and we went out to the Apple Store at Aventura Mall. While there, I picked up a Griffin iCurve for my MacBook Pro. I also got a Apple DVI to ADC adapter as well as the Logitech Cordless Desktop S530 Laser for Mac. Here is a picture of the setup:

Kecia also ordered a new mic and mic stand from some company online. She was concerned it wasn’t the right kind since she didn’t know what I wanted exactly. She used her best judgement and bought this:

God bless her. I would have never thought of using a stage mic stand in this fashion, but it actually works better than what I was looking at getting. The arm swivels down for a comfortable setup. It’s also easier to setup than your standard mic arm with a clamp. Happy birthday to me!
