A lesson learned

A little while ago, a company named Apple taught me a lesson that I should have remembered from Public Enemy in the late 80s: “Don’t believe the hype!” I’ve learned to recognize speculation for what it is and keep my expectations low. I saw in in endo today that there is another rumor that the fabled Video iPod will be released on April 1st. It’s time to put on the pessimistic hat and say: “YEAH, RIGHT! I’LL BELIEVE IT WHEN I SEE IT BUDDY!!”
I’m not getting burned again. Thanks Apple, I need a good smack across the head every now and then.
