20 Feb 2006am i really ready to switch my mac experience to the intel platform? i compiled a list of my most used applications on osx, and determined whether they were universal binary or rosetta emulation. out of my 24 most used applications, 14 were universal binaries and 10 were rosetta emulation. only one i could confirm would not be universal binary until 2007, and that’s the well known adobe photoshop. here’s the list for those curious:
i was pleased to see that out of these 10 that have to be emulated, only 2 cost money: Adobe Photoshop and Snapz Pro X. when my macbook pro arrives on wednesday, i think i’ll be ready..
