new digg spy

digg.com has released version of their “spy” feature which shows recent activity on digg.com in realtime. this brilliant use of ajax has gotten a facelift a well as a speed increase. if you visit the page, you’ll notice after a short delay, it begins to refresh at a blazing pace. for me, it seems almost a bit too fast. i found myself reading a headline, attempting to click on it, and miss. then i start chasing it down the page and miss again. a little frustrating. otherwise, its a nice facelift of an already useful web tool.
update: ok i found the “pause” button. that pretty much took care of my speed issues.
