rumor - yahoo will buy flickr?

recently, i jumped into flickr with both feet and didn’t look back. it’s a great way to share photos with your family and friends as well as get a glimpse of what the rest of the world is capturing. i found an article which discusses rumors that yahoo will buy flickr. in my opinion, this is great news. i have always had great respect for yahoo’s ability to execute on services. (just look at yahoo games, their email is great and their search engine rivals google). with a juggernaut such as yahoo behind flickr, it may even drop their “pro” registration fee. here’s to hoping.
